About the Mod
What is Cobblemon?
Cobblemon is a free Pokemon mod for Minecraft Java Edition. Pokemon spawn naturally across biomes, and you can catch them, battle with them, breed for better stats, and trade with friends.
PokeParadox builds on top of that with NPC gyms, co-op raids, hand-tuned spawns, a global trade station, player shops, and land claims. There is always something to chase.
Get Started
How to Play
Get the modpack
Grab the PokeParadox modpack from Modrinth or CurseForge. It bundles Cobblemon and everything else, already configured.
Launch and connect
Start Minecraft through your launcher, add our server IP, and join. You will land at spawn, next to the NPCs that run everything.
Choose your starter
Pick your first Pokemon and collect a starter kit with balls, tools, food, and armor.
Explore and battle
Catch across every biome, challenge the gym leaders, team up for a raid, and claim land to build on.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is PokeParadox free to play?
Yes. The server is free. The store sells cosmetic and convenience perks that never gate progression.
What Minecraft version do I need?
Minecraft Java Edition. The modpack pins the exact version, so installing it is the safest route.
Do I need the modpack?
You need Cobblemon and the supporting mods. The modpack bundles all of it, pre-configured, which is why we recommend it.
Can I play with friends?
Yes. Claims let you share build permissions, and you can trade and battle with anyone on the server.
Is Bedrock supported?
Not at this time. PokeParadox runs on Java Edition because Cobblemon is a Java mod. If that ever changes we will announce it in Discord and here.
