Poke Snacks and Hunts

Poke Snacks come with Cobblemon — they are not something PokeParadox adds. They are worth knowing about anyway, because they are the one tool that brings Pokemon to you instead of you going to them.

What a snack actually does

You place a snack down and Pokemon come to it. They spawn nearby and take a bite, and a snack can be bitten nine times before it is completely eaten. Snacks stack to 16.

What turns up depends on how you cooked it. Snacks are made in a Campfire Pot, and the Seasoning items you add — milk, honey, grains and various berries — change which Pokemon the snack attracts.

That is the whole mechanic. A snack does not push the rarity tier up, and it does not affect shiny odds. It changes what comes to you, not what you get when it arrives.

Hunts

Server-wide hunts run on top of the normal spawns, with prizes for the players who bring in the target. Watch Discord and the in-game announcements for the current one.

Before you go looking

Check the Pokedex for what a biome actually offers — it reads the same spawn data the server does.
